About Reigate Dyslexia 

My name is Philomena Mullan and I formed Reigate Dyslexia in 2019. My background is in Developmental Child Psychology, with a special interest in SEN. I have a Bsc in Psychology from Bath University (First Class Hons). After working for a while in Psychology I decided to pursue my interest in dyslexia and retrained as a dyslexia teacher and assessor. I am certified by the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) and hold a current APC and AMBDA certification. I taught in a specialist dyslexia school for several years, but now tutor and assess privately, from my home in Reigate, Surrey where I live with my husband and five(!) children. I especially enjoy working with young people, observing how their amazing brains work, and coming up with strategies and ideas to help them fulfill their potential.
